We are seeking an experienced permanent Part-time Medical Receptionist to join this well-established private medical practice. An exciting opportunity has become available to work in private practice within the specialty of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join a small and dynamic team on a permanent part-time capacity. Offering three permanent days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) with the flexibility to work a fourth day in times of heavier demand (Monday). We are seeking someone who is like-minded to our team – compassionate and dedicated, committed to making the patient’s surgical journey seamless and stress-free, ensuring they receive exceptional care and support every step of the way. Your day will flow, as you utilise your medical receptionist skills, from front-of-house, accounts processing, to assisting the PA and surgeon with a variety of duties whilst caring for and supporting the patients’ needs. Duties include: Meeting and greeting patients and managing enquiries Answer telephone calls and enquiries Booking and confirming patient appointments Process private patient consult accounts Accept and receipt of payment Communicating with Medicare and private insurance companies Use of Gentu medical software and Timely (booking system) Open and close duties With the work-life balance everyone seeks, the position is offered three days per week. The successful candidate will possess the flexibility to cover additional hours in times of heavier demand. Remuneration negotiable on skill level and experience.
