We are seeking a reliable and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to join our team, providing support to NDIS participants with complex behaviours of concern (BOCC), as well as children aged 5–8 years old. About the Role: You will work closely with participants and families to provide safe, respectful and person-centred care. The role requires strong skills in behaviour support implementation, daily living assistance, and health management. Key Responsibilities: Support participants with complex BOCC using strategies from Behaviour Support Plans (RP) Provide care and supervision to children aged 5–8 in daily routines and activities Assist with meal preparation and meal-time management Support participants with epilepsy management, including responding appropriately during seizures Implement strategies in line with individual support and care plans Build positive, supportive and professional relationships with participants and their families Maintain accurate records and reports as required Essential Criteria: Female Support Worker with experience in complex support needs Demonstrated experience working with children aged 5–8 Knowledge and practical experience with behaviour support (RP), meal planning, and epilepsy management Ability to follow care plans and work independently and reliably Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain) What We Offer: Supportive team environment Ongoing training and professional development Opportunities to make a meaningful difference in participants’ lives
