About the role Manage the day to day operations of Estimating and office based project management by implementing and overseeing Estimator procedures Key Responsibilities for the role Leadership & Management Manage operational matters and lead ongoing improvements to existing systems, processes and reporting Provide back office management and support for developments Work closely with other Senior Team Managers to create an affective team Demonstrate a commitment to self-development and continuous learning Financial Management Monitor and check pricing and quotes for projects. Send out purchase orders that are in line with budget and scope. Control operational budgets, making recommendations to the Director in relation to effective financial strategies Manage broader financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and accounting policies Identify new methods or streams for cost and efficiency management of projects Stakeholder Management Liaise with consultants through DA and BA stage to finalise plans and approvals Inform stakeholders of updates to legislation, guidelines, improvements to procedure , and other matters Project Management Prepare and monitor project plans, as compared to project budgets Follow-up with outstanding quotes Implement and continuously monitor processes and policies in support of organisational goals Constantly review and implement structure, process, systems, and technology to ensure staff deliver a cost effective and timely solution Skills & experience At least 3 years' experience in Construction Estimating, preferably within the construction industry Degree or tertiary qualification desired - or equivalent (demonstrated) ability to learn Computer literacy essential Experience in account management, relationship management and networking essential Previous experience working with a variety of stakeholders and competing deadlines * Knowledge of the construction industry About us Frontline Recruitment Group was established in 1995 and is made up of Industry specific verticals with specialist consultants working to help match great candidates with great career opportunities.
