We have opportunities at both our Sydney Harbour and Sydney Central properties for a Maintenance Officer. What you'll get to do You will get to work closely with the Property Manager and our Facilities/Maintenance team to ensure our properties are maintained and presented in the highest possible standard. This will include: Performing thorough weekly building and facility inspections (or daily inspections as requested) Liaising with the Property Manager, Maintenance and Building & Facilities Manager to initiate and schedule project works, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance Maintaining the swimming pool, including testing and dosing chemical levels (where applicable) Completing and maintaining inspection, safety, and maintenance reports and records What we are looking for: Proven experience in conducting, organising and coordinating maintenance activities Ideally trade qualified Strong organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple activities simultaneously Proficiency in using technology and maintenance systems What’s in it for you Access to benefits and discounts across the YHA national network of properties Professional development and career opportunity support across the YHA organisation and network Yearly social events to the snowy mountains and other locations for team building and fun!
