Our portfolio includes universities, corporate offices, banking environments, and commercial buildings , offering a variety of roles to suit different experience levels and career goals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected national security provider and gain exposure to diverse environments, including roving patrols, control room operations, and access control functions . About the Role As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining safety, security, and customer service standards across a variety of sites. Duties may include (but are not limited to): Conducting internal and external foot patrols (roving roles) Monitoring and operating CCTV and control room systems Managing access control, including issuing passes and maintaining registers Responding to incidents and writing detailed reports Providing clear directions and assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors Ensuring sites are secured (locking/unlocking as required) Maintaining a visible, professional security presence Communicating effectively with stakeholders and emergency services when required About You We are seeking adaptable and professional individuals who can work across multiple sites and environments. You will bring: Certificate II in Security Operations Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Valid NSW Security Licence Full working rights in Australia Strong communication and interpersonal skills A professional presentation and customer-focused approach Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Physical fitness to stand and walk for extended periods Roster & Flexibility Rotating rosters across multiple CBD sites Options may include 4 on / 4 off rosters depending on role and site Must be flexible for 24/7 rotating roster Why Join MSS Security?
