Your new company This well-regarded professional services organisation is seeking a Finance Officer to provide comprehensive support across finance, payroll and administration. Your new role Reporting to the Company Accountant, you will assist with a broad range of finance tasks including: Data entry in Xero and eTrack for all business transactions Preparation of monthly accounts receivable invoices Overseeing cash positions and recovery of outstanding debtors Processing payroll, superannuation and leave accruals Preparing and lodging BAS and payroll tax returns Reconciling bank accounts, petty cash and credit card transactions Assisting with financial reporting, insurance renewals and board papers Supporting HR processes including induction and termination documentation What you'll need to succeed Youll bring a strong financial background, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Key requirements include: Experience with Xero (and ideally MYOB) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and under pressure during reporting periods Willingness to learn new systems such as eTrack Strong organisational and communication skills Experience in payroll and financial reporting within a professional services environment will be highly regarded.
