About the Role The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and safe running of daily warehouse operations. This hands-on leadership role oversees goods movement, stock control, dispatch, and workflow management. Working closely with operational teams, the Warehouse Manager will play a key role in developing staff, elevating processes, and ensuring the warehouse operates to best-practice standards. This position suits a proactive, organised leader with strong people-management skills and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, dispatch, stock rotation, and inventory control. Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries to meet customer and business requirements. Maintain accurate stock levels and manage regular stocktakes and cycle counts. Ensure all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched according to company standards. Leadership & Team Management Lead, supervise, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Manage staff performance, provide coaching, and support ongoing development. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and safe work procedures. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe equipment operation. Coordinate warehouse equipment maintenance with suppliers where required. Process Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness. Implement process improvements supporting operational growth and service excellence. Collaborate with logistics, procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processes. Manage supplier relationships with professionalism and strong communication. About You Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Solid understanding of warehouse safety practices and regulatory compliance. Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
