An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Business Partner. Your new company Hays is partnering with a values driven organisation that is a long standing Tasmanian provider of education and care services. They are seeking a confident and capable HR Business Partner to take ownership of the people function in a standalone capacity. Your new role In this role, you will operate as a trusted advisor to the executive team and Board, guiding the organisation through both day-to-day people matters and longer term workforce planning. You will support leaders through coaching, capability building and sound, contemporary HR practice, helping them to make informed decisions and navigate complex people issues with confidence. Your judgement, communication style and ability to influence will be essential as you balance strategic input with hands-on delivery. What you'll need to succeed To succeed, you will bring a blend of strategic thinking and operational focus. You will be comfortable initiating and supporting change, using data to inform decisions, and designing people practices that strengthen culture and organisational effectiveness. A background working in community focused or values driven environments is helpful, but what matters most is your willingness to understand the organisation deeply before proposing change, along with a commitment to fostering positive, ethical and collaborative working relationships.A strong grasp of relevant employment legislation will support your work across sensitive and complex matters, and your discretion, integrity and reliability will be central to the trust placed in you.
