Job Title: Automation Engineer - Production / Manufacturing Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and optimize production and manufacturing automation systems. Ensure that automated systems meet safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and risks program, commission, and maintain HMI panels, system components like sensors / actuators and PLC systems of various companies and instrumentation (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Panasonic etc.), robots, and production equipment. Program, parameterize, and select frequency converters (Siemens, Omron, Danfoss, etc.) for motors and control systems using specialized software or programming tools. In-depth knowledge of SCADA system i.e. CITECT, Ignition etc. Contribute to the site's Continuous Improvement Program as a technical expert - the site requires the ability to diagnose control issues quickly, integrate and improve control systems and educate both operational and trades teams on how to interact with this technology.
