Highly respected and busy Tier 2 builder are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team. This role would involve you starting in head office working as part of the work winning team in head office and then going onto site once the project is won. This is a great opportunity for an SPE to be involved from the very start, have heavy involvement and influence with costing, design, tendering and procurement and make a difference with the project. The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors up to $350 mil including data centre, education, aged care, health and industrial. They are looking for an experience Senior Project Engineer that has proven experience delivering commercial projects over $75 mil. Responsibilities: Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders) Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on projects over $75 mil Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 Builder within the Australian market Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field 3 years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset Reliable references Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia If you feel this is the job for you please get in touch with Gaby Scott: 0466901687 / gscott@bluestonerecruitment.com
