About The Role At HammondCare, data and information are critical to delivering safe, high quality care, maintaining trust with the people we serve, and enabling responsible innovation. The Data Governance Lead is accountable for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of HammondCare’s enterprise data governance framework, ensuring data and information assets are trusted, high‑quality, secure, compliant, and ethically managed across the organisation. This role translates HammondCare’s enterprise data and information management strategy into practical, fit‑for‑purpose governance standards, processes, and controls. Working closely with clinical, operational, technology, analytics, privacy, and risk stakeholders, the Data Governance Lead embeds governance into day to day operations, decision making, and change initiatives enabling teams to use data confidently while meeting regulatory, privacy, and ethical obligations. This is a hands on leadership role focused on stewardship, clarity, and adoption, ensuring governance enables care, insight, and innovation rather than slowing it down.
