About the role This is an exciting opportunity to work with a committed team in a fast-paced environment where your contribution makes a real difference and helps keep Australians safer online. The role encompasses being the executive assistant to the General Counsel and senior administrator for the Legal Services Division, with responsibility for document and records management, expenditure and financial tracking and support and coordination in practice management matters. As Senior Executive Assistant - Paralegal , you will provide administrative support to lawyers in the Division, providing comprehensive financial and document management and organisation. You will take the initiative to identify practice-related improvements within the Division to maintain and enhance efficiency. The key duties of the position include maintaining effective electronic files, team records and filing on the legal document site supporting team management by assisting with document management and conduct of matter related tasks calendar management as required and administration of the Division's matter and leave calendar general administration duties including initiating and progressing procurements, management of billing and accounting matters managing induction and onboarding of new team members assisting administration associated with Freedom of Information requests, including searches, document conversion and redactions identifying opportunities for continuous improvement associated with practice management actively contributing to a positive, productive, and collaborative team environment across the commission other duties as required from time to time to support the work and priorities of the General Counsel, the Division and eSafety more broadly.
