The key duties of the position include The Role The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is an historic and transformative endeavour for Australia. The whole-of-nation effort to safely and securely deliver the cutting edge nuclear-powered submarine program will transform Australia's economic and national security landscape for decades to come. As a Director in Information Control Branch you will provide leadership and management of a Section delivering key services to the Nuclear Powered Submarine Program in one of three areas: Director ASA Compartment Control Authority: Lead the delivery of Australia's nuclear compartment functions for the Australian Nuclear Powered Submarine Enterprise, including managing our relationship with AUKUS partners and maintaining the national Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information Policy. Facilitate and drive improvements in information sharing mechanisms across the AUKUS Pillar 1 Program.Director Information Governance: Lead the delivery of information policy and records management services for the ASA and Nuclear Powered Submarine Enterprise, including ensuring we meet our reporting requirements and legislative obligations under the National Archives Act 1983, Senate Order 12, and relevant Portfolio policies. Create and deliver the ASA Information Governance Strategy to drive the growth of records management literacy across the Agency and embed a culture of compliance with information policies. Director Collaboration Systems: Lead the delivery, expansion, and sustainment of the ASA Collaboration Environment (ACE), including negotiating and establishing connectivity with national and international government and industry partners. Manage the relevant industry support contracts and work with national security authorities on ensuring and improving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the ACE platform.
