Overview We are partnering with a fast growing, premium media and production organisation to appoint a Chief Operating Officer. The business produces world class storytelling across film, digital and print, and operates a thriving production arm that delivers end to end content for leading brands. This role is a rare opportunity to become the CEO’s righthand operator and the day-to-day leader of a creative organisation with global ambition. The COO will turn strategy into execution, align the leadership team, and build the operating rhythm that enables scale without burning out the team. The position carries real authority, high trust, and a mandate to drive accountability across all functions. Roles and Responsibilities Leadership Rhythm & Accountability Lead weekly leadership meetings with clear agendas, decisions, owners and timelines. Own monthly business reviews and quarterly planning cycles. Improve decision flow across the organisation to reduce surprises and increase speed. Drive follow through and accountability without creating unnecessary administrative burden. Company Wide Goals, KPIs & Reporting Build meaningful department scorecards and KPI frameworks. Establish a consistent reporting cadence across all teams. Create a CEO level snapshot of performance, risks, resourcing and priorities. Support leaders in developing clear, achievable and measurable plans. Strategy to Execution Translate business goals into practical roadmaps with milestones and owners. Project manage cross functional initiatives end-to-end. Own escalation handling and timeline commitments with calm judgement. Reduce friction between teams by clarifying ownership, priorities and decision rights. US Growth Program Lead the operating plan for the next phase of US expansion. Ensure resourcing, delivery and standards align with growth goals. Maintain momentum and disciplined execution across departments. People Leadership & Organisational Design Lead headcount planning and team structure in partnership with department leaders. Strengthen under resourced areas and ensure leadership coverage during transitions. Provide direction to People & Culture and ensure follow through on people initiatives. Support healthy team dynamics and leadership alignment. Planning & Finance Partnership Partner with external finance advisors on planning, forecasting and performance insight. Co-manage leaders contributing to financial performance. Take on appropriate approvals as trust and context build during onboarding. Proven track record building operating cadence and turning strategy into delivery. Commercially strong and metrics literate. Experience in media, production, publishing or creative industries (advantageous but not essential). Experience scaling a business or leading through growth phases.
