About the role Reporting to the Fuel Operations Manager, the Supply Planner is tasked with executing the Fuel Supply Management Services (FSMS) on a day-to-day fuel operation across their assigned geographical locations. This role will be located across Sydney CBD and North Sydney offices. Key responsibilities Responsible for supply security in a defined geographical location Manage the supply operations within a 0-4-month time horizon consistent with approved plans, in support of inventory targets. Including: Co-ordinate the fuel forecasting process for the defined geographical region, including issuing of the forecast to the Fuel Supply Contractor (FSC). Management of the Survey and Quote process for any requirements across the Commercial and Overseas locations. Work with the FSC to create, maintain and optimise supply through management of product scheduling and inventory levels. Oversee data inputs into JFIMS and any other record management tool. Manage Stock Progression Worksheets for each assigned Defence Fuel Installation (DFI) site. Proactively seek and share relevant information to each DFI. Escalate product quality issues promptly and notify relevant internal / external parties. About You Relevant tertiary qualification in a related subject (e.g. Engineering, Business/Commerce) or 7 years related industry experience. Extensive experience in fuel supply chain operations and logistics in Australia Knowledge of fuel supply and demand mass balance in Australia, awareness of global supply and demand flows. Experienced in quality demand forecasting and management of fuel, as well as in managing working capital.
