With continued growth across Australia, the organisation is now investing in strengthening its supply chain capability to support scale, resilience and commercial performance. This is a newly created leadership role reporting directly to a highly engaged and impressive CEO. The Opportunity This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping and leading the end-to-end supply chain strategy, with a strong focus on procurement, international sourcing, S&OP and Planning, and Logistics (3PL management). You will introduce structure, governance and commercial discipline across procurement, supplier strategy, planning, inventory and international logistics, moving the business from a reactive purchasing model to a more strategic, scalable supply chain function. A key mandate will be to diversify the supplier base, balancing local and international sourcing to improve cost competitiveness, resilience and long-term growth capability. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Strategy Own and evolve the procurement and sourcing strategy across all product categories Analyse key SKUs and categories to identify cost, risk and supply opportunities Identify, onboard and develop domestic and international suppliers Lead commercial negotiations across pricing, MOQ, lead times and contracts Establish supplier performance frameworks across cost, quality and service International Freight & Logistics Own freight and logistics strategy across global supply lanes Manage forwarder, carrier and broker relationships Lead contract negotiation and performance management Define Incoterms, service levels and cost structures Proactively manage freight risk, cost and capacity Planning, S&OP & Inventory Design and embed a fit-for-purpose S&OP and supply planning framework Improve forecasting discipline and planning governance Develop inventory strategies balancing service, working capital and risk Introduce clear policies across safety stock and inventory performance Systems, Process & Governance Implement scalable systems, reporting and supply chain visibility Standardise procurement, planning and logistics processes Establish KPIs and performance dashboards Drive continuous improvement across supply chain operations Executive & Cross Functional Leadership Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on supply chain strategy Work with Finance on cost visibility, landed cost and margin improvement Align with Sales and Operations on demand, supply capability and execution Influence decision-making across commercial and operational teams What We’re Looking For Experience scaling an E2E Supply Chain function across procurement, sourcing and supply chain Experience implementing S&OP, planning and inventory frameworks Strong background in international sourcing and freight/logistics Proven experience in building or transforming supply chain capability in growth environments Commercially astute with strong negotiation capability Comfortable operating hands-on while building longer-term structure Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence at executive level Why This Role Direct access to the CEO and real influence on business performance Opportunity to build and shape a supply chain function from the ground up National scope with exposure to international sourcing and logistics Play a key role in supporting the next phase of growth for a high-performing business If this sounds of interest, or you’d like to explore the opportunity confidentially, please apply directly or contact Lewis Ironside on 0435824108 for a confidential discussion.
