Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship Job ID 6957 Type Full time Location North Rockhampton, QLD Positions 2 Apply Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship The Opportunity Partnered with our host Cass Cooling , we are seeking an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentices looking to be trained in all aspects of air conditioning services to a range of sectors including mining, industrial, commercial, education, health and residential while completing a UEE32220 Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration qualification. This position is full-time and based in North Rockhampton . Job Details As an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice you will be involved in the servicing, installing and repairing of commercial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration units. Duties will include: Attaching piping to refrigeration systems using sleeves, couplings or unions and solder joints to form a complete system Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and thread piping Working at heights and confined spaces Heavy lifting and climbing ladders Servicing washing and cleaning Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm Benefits Full time 4-year contract including paid annual and personal leave Paid weekly Access to 1:1 mentoring The chance to learn from experienced tradespeople Opportunity to access Government subsidy payments of up to a total of $5000 for the first 2 years of your apprenticeship paid in 6 monthly instalments About You We’re looking for a motivated individual who wants to grow in the trade and industry, has excellent communication and time management skills, and is eager to ask questions and learn.
