We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join a leading commercial construction firm based in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a dynamic and collaborative team, delivering award-winning projects across the commercial, workplace, education, and health sectors. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and manage the end-to-end estimating process for commercial fitout and refurbishment projects. Analyse tender documentation, conduct site inspections, and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing. Prepare accurate cost plans, BOQs, and tender submissions in line with margin parameters. Mentor and support junior estimators and contribute to a high-performing team culture. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project handovers and successful bid outcomes. Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers. Stay ahead of industry trends and estimating technologies. What You’ll Bring Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in commercial fitout and refurbishment Strong understanding of construction methodologies, tendering processes, and cost planning. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and estimating software. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
