We are currently seeking an experienced Solution Designer to shape, define, and deliver end-to-end technology solutions within a leading Australian Superannuation organisation. This role provides the opportunity to work across complex superannuation platforms, partnering with business and technology teams to design functional and integration solutions that support member services, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation initiatives. You will lead design activities across multiple systems, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, and contribute to the uplift of design standards across the organisation. Key Responsibilities - Design and document end-to-end technology solutions aligned to architecture standards and superannuation product needs. - Translate business, functional, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable solution designs. - Lead solution design workshops with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and vendor partners. - Develop high-level and detailed design artefacts including Solution Architecture Documents, integration designs, data flows, and security assessments. - Ensure all solutions comply with Australian superannuation regulations (APRA, ASIC) and privacy obligations. - Work closely with Enterprise and Domain Architects to ensure alignment to target state architecture. - Collaborate with Product Owners, engineering teams, DevOps, risk & compliance, and external vendors. - Provide design governance and assurance throughout delivery, ensuring solutions remain scalable, secure, and supportable. - Support vendor selection processes, RFP evaluations, and technical due diligence activities. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of architectural frameworks, modelling standards, and design practices. Skills & Experience Experience designing solutions across: - Superannuation administration platforms - Member and employer portals - CRM platforms - Data platforms & reporting environments - API, ESB, and event-driven integration architectures Strong understanding of: - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Microservices and API-first design - Security frameworks (OAuth2, SAML, SSO) - Data governance, privacy, and regulatory reporting - Omni knowledge highly regarded; willingness to learn required Strong understanding of Australian superannuation, including: - MySuper products - Contribution and benefit processing - Insurance within super - Rollovers and portability - APRA reporting and regulatory standards - Contributions - Insurance - Defined Benefits - Distributions - Tax - MAAS / MATS reporting Next steps If you feel this opportunity suits you, or this organisation is the type of environment you'd like to join, we want to have a conversation with you!
