Major Projects Representative - Technology Stadiums Queensland – Brisbane Representing SQ - contribute to the delivery of venue technology for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Stadiums Queensland is seeking an experienced technology leader to represent the organisation’s technology vision across the design and development of major new venues, including the Brisbane Stadium (Victoria Park) and National Aquatic Centre. Working within the Major Projects team, you will ensure technology strategy, operational requirements and future innovation are embedded into venue infrastructure from the earliest design stages. This role will directly shape how Stadiums Queensland delivers world-class digital, operational and spectator experiences for the Brisbane 2032 Games and beyond. Key Responsibilities Lead the client-side development of technology requirements for major venue projects. Represent Stadiums Queensland in design workshops, working groups and construction programs. Engage with key stakeholders including Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA), Brisbane 2032, government agencies, architects and contractors. Ensure venue technology solutions support operations, security, resilience and fan experience. Work closely with SQ’s Technology Services team and internal subject matter experts to align infrastructure design with long-term operational needs. Research and implement global best practice in major venue and stadium technology. About You You are a senior technology professional with experience delivering complex technology environments in major venues or large infrastructure projects. You bring expertise across areas such as: Venue technology and operational technology (OT) AV and broadcast environments Customer experience platforms Enterprise infrastructure and applications Cyber security, risk management and secure architecture Technology integration within major capital works projects Essential Experience 15 years’ experience in technology delivery or leadership roles 5 years supporting technology in major sports, entertainment or event venues Why This Role?
