Initial 2-month role with possible extension Brisbane CBD based Our Queensland Government client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to join Specialist Operations Command. Key duties include: - Develop and design SharePoint Online Hubs and/or sites that can be accessed via QCS intranet pages. - Be highly skilled and experienced in designing and developing SharePoint products to maximise the user experience. - Review relevant existing SharePoint sites to enhance integration with any new sites being developed. - Interpret large amounts of information, tools and templates to design and structure sites in a logical and user-friendly way and in a way that aligns with QCS and Whole of Government (WoG) style guides and QCS corporate branding. - Apply knowledge and experience of developing services and solutions in different ways to improve accessibility and user experience. - Ensure appropriate security measures are implemented and maintained through consultation and collaboration with internal digital / ICT partners, including compliance with relevant WoG and QCS information sharing policies and procedures. - Support the development of other online content as required, potentially utilising Power BI and other Microsoft Power Platform products as identified by QCS. - Providing user training, a range of support manuals and coaching to support the ongoing internal management of SharePoint Online sites and other tools and resources developed. - Have strong communication and consultation skills to understand, develop and test user requirements - Be flexible and adaptable to work with different products and tools. - Other duties as required. - This is a 100% fulltime in office based role.
