We’re looking for a commercially minded, people-focused leader to step into the role of Service Manager - someone who can elevate customer experience, drive operational performance and lead a highly skilled team. About the Role Reporting to the Business Development Manager - Engineering, Power & Energy, you’ll lead service operations across safety, financial performance, customer engagement and team development. Your responsibilities will include: Leading day-to-day service operations, ensuring safe work practices, quality repairs and timely job completion Driving a strong HSE culture, including hazard reporting, compliance and toolbox meetings Overseeing work order accuracy, invoicing, labour charges, overtime and departmental expenses in line with budget Building strong customer relationships through proactive communication, site visits and key account engagement Ensuring the team is well resourced through workforce planning, training and technical support About You You’re an experienced service leader with strong commercial acumen, a focus on people and a drive to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. To be successful, you will have: A trade qualification in a mechanical discipline (Diesel Technician, Fitter & Turner or similar) Leadership experience in a Service Manager, Workshop Manager or similar role within heavy equipment or related industries Strong financial and operational capability, including budgeting and WIP control A commitment to safety, professionalism and high technical standards Solid systems experience, and intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office proficiency Why Join Us?
