You could be one of our 3100 committed team members who are up to the challenge. About The Role The Operations Group delivers day to day train and coach services across regional Victoria. Assess access and occupation requests for projects and major works across the rail corridor. You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to prepare Safe Working Occupation and Train Operations Notice circulars and review Operational Safe working on operational impacts. Operational Understanding & Network Support Develop strong knowledge of V/Line’s network, operations, and stakeholder requirements. Attend Weekly Access & Occupations and NCAG meetings to contribute to planned works discussions and understand operational impacts. Review and issue Safeworking Occupation Notices (SWOs), Train Operations Notices (TONs) and Safeworking Notices (SWs). Improve and maintain processes for SWO and TON management and ensure accuracy of circulars using NOI system data. Update Train Control Graphs and interpret signalling diagrams as required. Maintain a safe working environment and support implementation of safety strategies. Review training material and monitor ongoing competency for Signallers and competent workers. Leadership & Culture Collaborate effectively across business functions to achieve shared goals. Demonstrate adaptability, seek feedback, and pursue continuous improvement. Role-model and promote V/Line’s values and behaviours. Compliance Comply with statutory obligations, internal policies, and documentation requirements. Uphold V/Line integrity standards, including reporting conflicts of interest or suspect activity. Cooperate with investigations and ensure all incidents and accidents are reported. Teamwork & Support Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide assistance to the Manager – Operational Safeworking, Manager – Network Control, ROE Team Leaders, and other Network Control functions as required.
