This role supports Council’s governance functions by providing expert advice on policies, delegations, privacy, conflict of interest and maintaining a range of governance registers. It is also responsible for managing access to information applications under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. Demonstrates strong experience providing governance advice and supporting governance frameworks. Possesses solid, contemporary knowledge of governance practices and legislative requirements. Shows excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare reports, collaborate effectively, influence stakeholders, and develop practical solutions.
