In this permanent full-time role, you will oversee real-time road operations, manage disruptions, liaise with stakeholders, mentor staff, and support reporting and data analysis. The Real-time Network Management (RTNM) Support team focus on continuous service improvement for our customers by monitoring our Traffic Management Centre's (TMC) performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and conducting data reporting, quality checks, and audits. They also provide advice on network management services, including disruption management and traveller information. The Role As a Senior Operator, you will monitor and manage real-time operations of Queensland's road network, ensuring efficient resource use, accurate disruption information, and effective incident responses to maintain safe and reliable journeys. Key responsibilities will include overseeing real-time network monitoring, responding to operational issues, and liaising with stakeholders and service providers to manage planned and unplanned disruptions. You will handle high volumes of telephone enquiries, prioritise actions, and maintain accurate records in the Incident Management System. Additionally, you will mentor staff on procedures, support reporting and data analysis, and ensure compliance with privacy protocols. We are seeking candidates who are available to work on a 24/7 shift roster or a rotating roster across five or seven days, depending on the location.
