Your new company Work with a reputable Queensland Government department based on the Gold Coast, supporting the delivery of essential infrastructure projects. Youll be part of a team contributing to highpriority programs that directly benefit the local community. Your new role As the Project Support Officer, you will provide highlevel administrative and project coordination support to Project Managers and project teams to ensure the effective and timely delivery of road infrastructure projects.Key responsibilities include: Coordinating team meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing documentation. Preparing reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, registers and presentations. Supporting financial approval processes, contract administration systems and procurement activities. Preparing procurement documentation, liaising with external suppliers and assisting with tender processes in line with departmental governance requirements. Tracking and maintaining accurate project documentation, monitoring approvals and ensuring deadlines are met. Providing daytoday administrative support to multiple Project Managers. Ensuring all activities comply with departmental policies, WH&S requirements and governance frameworks. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in project support or high-level administration, ideally within government or infrastructure environments. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience supporting procurement, contract administration or financial approval processes. High attention to detail with strong document control and recordkeeping capabilities. Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a project team. What you'll get in return Work with a Queensland Government department located on the Gold Coast. Attractive hourly rate of $51.13 p/h super. Assignment from 16/03/2026 to 15/03/2027, with potential for a 12month extension. 37.5 hours per week, standard 7.5hour days.
