About The Company An Australian-owned leader in the industry, they design and manufacture a range of safety barriers and equipment. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced boilermaker, fabricator or welder to join their friendly and supportive team in the Rooty Hill area. Your New Role You will be working on complex projects from start to finish, working independently as well as within a team in an open-planned workshop on-site. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Welding and fabrication Reading plans Ensuring the welding area and workshop remain clean and organised Use of other equipment and machines within the workshop (training provided) - these include guillotines, brake presses, CNC laser and lathes etc Assisting the team in all areas where possible About You Cert 3 in Engineering/Heavy Fabrication or equivalent trade such as welding is preferred but not essential Min. 3 years of experience in a similar role and industry post-trade Proficient MIG welding capabilities (TIG welding is a bonus) The ability to read plans LF forklift is a distinct advantage Take genuine pride in your work What’s in it for you: Full-time casual with a view to a permanent role Monday – Friday 6 am – 3:00 pm $37ph - $45ph super regular OT On-site parking Supportive, team-based environment where you will be trained on a variety of equipment, including CNC If you feel you meet the criteria listed above and you have the unrestricted right to live and work in Australia, apply now with a current CV in MS Word format, ideally.
