The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Experience Designer to join our Digital & CX team within Marketing & Growth on a 12‑month max‑term contract. In this role, you’ll design intuitive, accessible, and high‑quality digital experiences across web and mobile products that help members and employers interact with UniSuper simply and confidently. You’ll be a senior, hands‑on practitioner who can work autonomously while collaborating closely with cross‑functional delivery teams, business stakeholders, and our CX Research & Insights team to understand problem spaces, prototype solutions, and validate designs with real users. What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Lead and deliver end‑to‑end experience design activities across both agile and waterfall initiatives, aligning customer, business, and project needs. Collaborate with product, channel, business, and technical stakeholders to define and execute appropriate design activities and ensure holistic, end‑to‑end thinking. Partner with CX Research & Insights to analyse qualitative and quantitative research and translate insights into meaningful, user‑centred solutions. Produce high‑quality design artefacts including service blueprints, user flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity prototypes that clearly communicate solutions and specifications. Contribute to and leverage UniSuper’s Design System and component libraries to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across digital experiences. Champion accessibility by ensuring designs meet WCAG 2.2 standards and support assistive technologies from concept through to implementation. Support the ongoing maturity of UniSuper’s design practice by providing expertise, guidance, and stewardship across business and engineering teams. About You You’re an experienced product and experience designer with a strong generalist skillset across the digital design lifecycle. You’re comfortable balancing pace with quality, adapting your approach to suit different contexts, and clearly articulating your design rationale to a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll bring: 5 years’ experience in experience, UX, or service design roles delivering digital products and services. A strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design across web and mobile platforms. Proven capability designing responsive, accessible interfaces and complex, multi‑step user journeys. High proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping, with experience using collaboration tools such as Confluence. Experience facilitating and leading workshops to drive alignment and outcomes with diverse business and technology stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of delivery. Experience in large, complex organisations, financial services or superannuation, and exposure to iOS/Android, Angular, React, or Sitecore environments will be well regarded, but is not essential.
