We are seeking a highly capable Executive Officer to provide high‑level executive, secretariat, administrative and project support to senior leaders within the Corporate Services team. This is a dynamic role requiring sound judgement, discretion and strong organisational skills. You will work across a diverse range of complex matters, coordinating priorities, managing information flows and supporting effective decision‑making at senior executive level. About the role In this role, you’ll provide high level executive support, including diary and mailbox management, correspondence, travel arrangements and records management. You will act as a first point of contact, exercising confidentiality and discretion to triage and prioritise issues appropriately. You’ll regularly prepare and coordinate briefings, submissions, reports and correspondence on complex policy and operational matters, including material for executive and Ministerial consideration; and deliver secretariat support to executive teams and committees, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking. You’ll lead the coordination of projects, research and information to support branch priorities; as well as the development, implementation of efficient office management, data and records systems. About You You are a confident and professional executive support specialist who thrives in fast paced environments. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information clearly and concisely. You’re known for your excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities under pressure, along with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a customer focused mindset. With sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive matters, key to your success in this role will be an understanding of the Machinery of Government and public sector operating environments.
