Senior Coordinator Event Investment Join Destination NSW, the champion and voice for the visitor economy within the NSW Government Clerk Grade 7/8 position with a salary range $113,574 - $125,720 per annum plus superannuation Ongoing role located in The Rocks, Sydney About the role The Senior Event Investment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of major events that bring economic, marketing and community benefits to New South Wales. You will coordinate and deliver project workstreams across a range of Destination NSW supported events, undertaking research, developing project plans and monitoring progress to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and in line with agreed contractual requirements. This includes managing stakeholder relationships, identifying risks, tracking performance against objectives and supporting the evaluation of event outcomes. You will also provide high-quality coordination and administrative support to ensure events and related projects run smoothly. This involves preparing and maintaining project documentation, contributing to reporting and evaluation activities, and coordinating a range of written materials such as reports, briefing notes and presentations for different stakeholders. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help maintain strong relationships with industry partners and internal business units to support the development of effective processes, systems and reporting that underpin the successful delivery of Destination NSW’s event investment program. About You You are a motivated, organised and proactive professional with experience in the events industry and a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, briefs, and correspondence on complex and sensitive issues. Your well-developed research and analytical skills will enable you to assess event investment opportunities effectively, while your ability to anticipate and manage risks will ensure smooth contract management.
