The Opportunity: We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Procurement Administrator to join our Aquaculture team based in Albany to support our procurement function, ebsuring the timely coordination of purchasing activities, supplier angagement, and accurate administration of procurement processes. Key Responsibilities will include: Management of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, and credit applications. Develop and distribute procurement reports including monthly expenditure, purchase order/purchase requisition metrics and non-purchase order payments. Assist with the development and setup of the procurement strategy, policies, and procedures to achieve high quality and timely product supply and service reflective of agreed service levels. Ensure all purchasing activities within the team runs in line with the budget. Creating valued and strong commercial relationships with current and prospective suppliers and internal stakeholders in support of ongoing business requirements. Management of freight logistics from supplier to end point. Travel to vendors and purchase items required for the operational and commercial needs of the business. Maintaining and organising the repair of office and operational equipment as required. Maintaining and ordering stationery and office supplies (including uniform register), researching specific purchase information for regular goods and services required by the office. Assisting the People & Safety Manager with the processing and booking of training courses for HRO staff. Assist Head of Aquaculture with credit card reconciliation. Assist the Office Manager with coding and verification of HRO invoices to ensure they are processed in a timely manner. Assisting the Office Manager with other administration duties as required. Our ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualifications for Procurement, Commerce, Business Administration and/or 2 years in a similar role. Experience in procurement, procurement performance and evaluation processes. Proven experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of procurement, frameworks, and processes. Ability to proactively build a stronger relationship with the community and develop a positive Leeuwin Coast brand. Ability to adapt in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment, working well under pressure. Experience working with procurement and finance systems. Proven experience with negotiation strategies and decision making in business / commercial related purchasing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational and planning abilities. Proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite. Class C driver's licence. Aquaculture Industry knowledge relating to vessels, machinery, and related products.
