The firm provides tax, accounting, and advisory services to a broad range of clients including SMEs, partnerships, trusts and individuals, delivering tailored advice and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders and clients to deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services while mentoring junior team members and supporting the continued growth of the practice. The Role: Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals Provide tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio Manage client relationships and respond to tax and compliance queries Review work prepared by junior accountants and provide mentorship Assist with BAS/IAS preparation and other ATO lodgements Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and provide additional advisory support About You: 4–6 years’ experience in public practice accounting, with strong exposure to tax compliance and advisory CA or CPA qualified Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar cloud platforms Excellent communication skills with a proactive and client-focused mindset Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining high attention to detail What’s On Offer: Competitive salary package based on experience Opportunity to work with a diverse client base across multiple industries Supportive team culture with strong mentoring and leadership access Professional development and career progression opportunities Stable, reputable firm with long-standing client relationships Please note: This job is based in Australia therefore, only candidates who are permanent residents or citizens of Australia or NZ will be considered.
