We have 2 x Regional Manager roles available: Asia Manager Pacific and Africa Manager Both are Permanent Full-Time roles reporting to the Development Associate Director, where you will be responsible fo r taking the lead in shaping transformative programs across Asia or the Pacific & Africa regions, and empower communities to thrive. Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Contributing to and leading the implementation of regional strategies that include diverse and impactful portfolios Manage your direct team , including offices based overseas, to ensure programs standards and accountabilities are adhered to Overseeing the financial and risk management and operations of programs within your designated region – Asia or Pacific and Africa Managing budget planning and forecasting including supporting the Associate Director on budget management throughout the year Proactively seeking new resources and opportunities for your designated regions portfolio – Asia or Pacific and Africa Both roles will be based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week . Who are we looking for ? The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to Caritas Australia’s mission to end poverty and injustice by promoting human dignity for all, as well as a dedication to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching that guide our global efforts. They will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience: Tertiary qualifications or higher in International Development, Social Sciences or equivalent Certificate IV or higher in Leadership and Management or equivalent 5 Years of experience managing complex development programs in complex operational environments, either in Asia or the Pacific and Africa region Proven team management with large and complex teams including management of overseas staff Financial management including budget development in overseas development programs How to apply We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all the listed qualifications.
