Your duties will be to operate a daily barista service to staff and visitors before school and during school break times. Additional duties will include assisting the Tuckshop Convenor with the preparation/cooking of food, adhering to food hygiene and workplace health and safety standards, receiving and unpacking of stock, filling lunch orders and counter service. Step Into Your Next Chapter Canteen Assistant - Yugumbir State School Monday to Friday 7am -11.45am (4.25 hrs daily ADO) Permanent position - start date 20/4/2026 Responsibilities Include Provide quality canteen and catering customer service including food production and food preparation duties, counter service, clearing tables and cleaning duties. Provide a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation, storage and safe handling of food. Follow procedure regarding food preparation and adhere to daily menu plans. Ensure that malfunctioning equipment is reported to the Canteen Supervisor in a prompt manner using appropriate paper work. Operate a cash register and collect money from client groups.
