6 months day rate contractor, Change Manager (Partners CRM), UNSW IT Location: Kensington campus in Sydney, NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working) minimum 2 days in the office About the Role UNSW is implementing a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (HubSpot) to support how partnership relationships are managed across the university. The initiative spans multiple user groups with different needs, practices and ways of working, and requires strong collaboration to agree on shared approaches that work for everyone. As Change Manager, you’ll work closely with the vendor and project team to design and deliver practical change activities that help people understand, adopt and use the new CRM and associated ways of working. This is a fast‑moving initiative with strongly held local preferences, and a real need for alignment across units. You don’t need to be a CRM or HubSpot expert. Experience working in CRM‑enabled environments is an advantage, but the role is firmly focused on change management, engaging people, facilitating conversations, supporting decision‑making, and enabling adoption. As Change Manager, you will: Lead change impact and readiness assessments to understand how different groups are affected and what support they need. Work closely and collaboratively with project teams, sponsors and stakeholders to co‑design practical, achievable change approaches. Design and facilitate workshops and sessions that help diverse stakeholder groups surface issues, work through differences, and agree on shared ways forward. Develop and deliver integrated change plans aligned to project milestones, including engagement, communications, training and reinforcement activities. Navigate strongly held local practices with confidence and care, supporting progress toward aligned approaches that work across units. Develop a training needs analysis and plan, and coordinate training and enablement activities, including the development of fit‑for‑purpose support materials. Support stakeholders through transition by providing clear guidance, practical tools and ongoing support. Identify change risks, dependencies and resistance early, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Maintain clear, accessible change artefacts and collaboration spaces (e.g. SharePoint). Monitor adoption and feedback, adjusting change activities as needed. Work at pace while maintaining quality, clarity and alignment with broader program priorities. About you: Experience delivering change management on mid-to-large initiatives within complex organisations. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust, influence constructively, and facilitate productive conversations across diverse groups. Workshop design and facilitation experience, particularly in navigating differing perspectives and building agreement. Experience developing practical change artefacts such as impact assessments, readiness assessments, training plans and support materials. An ability to work collaboratively within multi‑disciplinary teams and across organisational boundaries. Confidence working at pace, balancing competing priorities and adapting as conditions change. Clear, accessible written and verbal communication skills. Experience supporting training and enablement activities (designing, coordinating or delivering). Exposure to CRM‑enabled change (e.g. HubSpot or similar platforms) is an advantage, but not a requirement. Tertiary qualification in change management, behavioural psychology, communications, business management, etc. or equivalent experience.
