This is a lean, high-impact environment where your architecture decisions matter, and where you will personally own end-to-end solution design across multiple domains. We’re partnering with a Sydney CBD-based higher education organisation seeking a Solutions Architect to join a small, capable technology team delivering critical transformation initiatives across student, finance and enterprise platforms. The Opportunity You will take ownership of solution design from discovery through to delivery – operating across applications, infrastructure and data. Key programs include: Uplift and re-architecture of Student Management Systems (SMS) Student portal modernisation in a complex integration landscape CRM and finance system enhancements Broader enterprise integration and platform improvements You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and operational teams – translating requirements into scalable, implementable solutions. What You’ll Bring 5 years’ experience as a Solutions Architect Strong hands-on engineering background (Senior Engineer level prior to architecture) Ability to clearly step through solutions you have personally designed and delivered Experience across integration, DevOps and enterprise platforms Strong documentation capability (HLDs, LLDs, options papers, decision artefacts) Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical design Experience applying structured architecture frameworks (TOGAF preferred) Confidence operating without large support structures Why Join?
