About the Role We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Brisbane office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia. Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support. Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work. Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required for this position to communicate effectively with other discipline engineers, electricians, and stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards. Expertise in the design and specification of electrical and instrumentation equipment for hazardous areas. Experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations Knowledge and experience working with heavy industry clients in the minerals processing. Working towards becoming a Registered/Chartered Engineer status, preferable. Knowledge of control systems design. Experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy setting. Familiarity with process safety and machine safety. Experience with studies and (FEED). Proficiency in workshop facilitation (HAZOP). Project management skills.
