Project Officer, Special Investigations Salary: $97,955 - $111,142 (Plus Superannuation) Ongoing role Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available) Usual work location: Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available) The Role The Project Officer will make a meaningful impact by supporting key funding and quality assurance activities under the Skills First program. We're seeking a detail-oriented person, with strong communication (both written and verbal) and analytical skills, who can build and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Main accountabilities: Undertakes complex or technical investigations and makes recommendations for action Prepares reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level Conveys specialist concepts and policies to clients, staff and stakeholders Applies negotiation persuasion and motivation skills to manage staff and stakeholders The Team The position of Project Officer, Special Investigations forms a part of the Training Operations and Assurance branch within the Skills and TAFE group. Skills and TAFE (ST) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations. The Training Operations and Assurance (TOA) branch maintains and promote a quality training system through administration of VET funding contracts and grants, collaborating with providers so they understand and meet contractual and delivery expectations.
