SAI 541 PTY LTD trading as LALA’S KITCHEN is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team in Boronia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and supervising the preparation and cooking of food in our busy dining establishment while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene. Key Responsibilities :- Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs Order and manage food supplies and kitchen inventory Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Discuss food preparation issues with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise staff on cooking procedures Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed and enforced Assist in selecting, training, and supervising kitchen staff where required Implement food preservation methods including freezing and storing ingredients properly Skills and Requirements :- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience Minimum experience working as a chef or in a similar role preferred Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain high food quality standards How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to send their resume and cover letter to: Email: lalakitchenb@gmail.com.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
