Client side opportunity - work for a major ASX listed property group. Based onsite at a CBD office building. Must have strong technical background and experience in delivering projects. Our client is a major property group, and its diverse portfolio includes the development and management of quality retail, commercial and hospitality properties across Australia. As Senior Facilities Manager you will work onsite at an office building in the CBD, ensuring operational functionality of this asset. Your role will be responsible for providing technical and operational support for the asset, along with: Managing asset issues and coordinating efficient and effective responses. Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Ensuring assets are kept to a high standard of presentation. Tendering service contracts as required, making recommendations and obtain relevant approvals to enter into contracts, as directed by the Office Portfolio Manager. Assist to maintain an asset register of all plant and equipment. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Supervising delivery of base building projects, renovations or refurbishments alongside internal project management teams. Develop and implement Sustainability initiatives and best practices. Developing appropriate scopes of works and contract documentation to allow contracts to be tendered. To be considered for the position, you will have a proven track record in Facilities Management with a strong technical background and proven experience in delivering projects. The successful candidate will also need to display the following qualities: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a facilities management role in a commercial office building environment. Competent across WHS, QA and ideally environmental legislation and systems. Familiarity with the operation of Building Services (lifts, fire, electrical etc.) and services delivery. High level written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on analysis and strategic planning. Ability in financial, budgeting, forecasting, business planning and contract monitoring. High level in analysis, evaluation and recommendation processes. Well-organised and methodical manner. High level of knowledge in current computer software.
