Senior Content Designer contract with a large and complex QLD State Government Agency Work in a multidisciplinary digital team delivering user-centred government services Brisbane CBD, hybrid Job Title : Senior Content Designer / Lead Content Designer 3 positions available Contract: Immediate start, contract through 30th June 2026 Location: Brisbane CBD, hybrid Job Summary Our client, a large and complex QLD State Government Agency , is seeking an experienced Senior Content Designer to join a multidisciplinary digital team delivering customer-focused government services. This role sits within a digital service environment responsible for designing and delivering simple, accessible, and connected digital services to Queenslanders across multiple channels including online, phone, chat, and service centres. This is an excellent opportunity for a user-centred content specialist who enjoys working collaboratively with designers, developers, and service teams to create clear, accessible and effective digital experiences. Key Responsibilities Work within a multidisciplinary digital team across various stages of service design and delivery. Design and deliver user-centred content solutions aligned with usability and accessibility standards. Ensure digital content meets best practice guidelines for accessibility and readability . Provide editorial review and guidance to internal and cross-agency web publishers. Advise on information architecture, interaction design, and digital interface content . Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce content that meets user needs and organisational objectives . Plan and deliver content packages across multiple digital initiatives in partnership with content teams. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in content design or UX writing within digital services Strong understanding of user-centred design principles Experience designing content for web platforms and digital services Knowledge of accessibility standards and best-practice digital content guidelines Experience collaborating with designers, developers, product teams, and stakeholders Strong editorial, writing and communication skills Experience working in Agile or multidisciplinary delivery environments Experience working in government or large complex organisations will be highly regarded.
