Lead Electrical Engineer role with a major industrial manufacturer. Provide technical leadership across plant electrical systems, support capital projects and drive reliability in a complex manufacturing environment. The Company Our client is a major industrial manufacturer with a significant presence across Australia’s heavy industry sector. Supplying critical materials into construction, infrastructure and manufacturing markets, they operate large-scale, highly automated production facilities and continue to invest heavily in plant capability and reliability. Due to ongoing capital investment and a strong focus on engineering capability, they are now seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team and provide technical leadership across complex manufacturing operations. The Role This is a senior engineering position responsible for leading electrical engineering activities across a large industrial site. Working closely with operations, maintenance and project teams, you will play a key role in driving reliability improvements and supporting major capital upgrades. Key responsibilities include: • Providing technical leadership across plant electrical infrastructure and systems • Supporting the design, delivery and commissioning of major capital projects • Overseeing electrical engineering standards, compliance and technical governance • Leading fault finding and root cause analysis across critical equipment • Working closely with automation and control systems within a highly automated environment • Mentoring engineers and supporting cross-functional project teams Your Background To be successful in this role you will bring: • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar • 10 years’ experience within heavy industry such as steel, mining, energy, manufacturing or industrial processing • Strong technical capability across industrial electrical systems, plant infrastructure and automation environments • Experience supporting capital projects within operational manufacturing facilities • The ability to work closely with operations and maintenance teams in a complex plant environment What’s On Offer This is an opportunity to join a well-established industrial business at a time of continued investment and growth.
