Senior Product Manager, Superannuation Sydney 6 month contract, $900 to $1,100 per day A financial services client is looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong superannuation experience for an immediate contract. This role sits in a complex, regulated environment and will suit someone who knows how to move between product strategy, delivery and stakeholder management without losing sight of customer outcomes. This is not a pure roadmap role and it is not a delivery only brief either. The remit is broader than that. The successful contractor will step into an established superannuation portfolio and help drive change across product, governance, operations and technology. There is also a clear Product Owner element, so this suits someone comfortable making decisions, shaping requirements and keeping work moving across multiple teams. The environment will suit a product manager who is comfortable with ambiguity, understands how wealth products operate in practice and can balance commercial priorities with regulatory obligations. You will need enough technical confidence to work closely with delivery teams, enough product judgement to challenge and refine ideas and enough stakeholder presence to deal with senior internal contacts and external providers. What you’ll be doing Driving product change across the superannuation portfolio Taking ownership of agreed initiatives from requirements through to delivery Working across business, technology and external partners to keep implementation on track Managing the product obligations that sit around change, including governance, reporting and disclosure Contributing to product improvement, customer outcomes and broader roadmap planning What they’re looking for Solid product management experience in wealth, superannuation or closely related financial services Strong knowledge of the Australian superannuation and investment landscape Experience working across regulated products, with a practical grasp of governance and risk Product Owner capability, with the ability to translate business needs into clear priorities Confidence working with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and external vendors Strong commercial judgement, communication skills and attention to detail RG146 and relevant finance, commerce or business qualifications This is a strong fit for someone who has already worked in super and can add value quickly in a contract setting.
