Our client is seeking an Engineering Lead - AI Platform to lead a team of engineers building platforms that enables product teams to embed Generative AI into their solutions safely and effectively. This role requires a strong software engineering background, combined with proven leadership skills to ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and ethical AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and operation of cloud-native platform services, including AI-enabled components. Collaborate with Product, Data, Architecture, and Compliance to deliver scalable, AI-capable software solutions. Build reusable and composable software components that integrate AI capabilities for cross-team use. Drive engineering best practices and operational excellence in production systems. Hire, mentor, and develop engineers, elevating team capability and performance. What We're Looking For 7 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. Strong expertise in modern software development practices and cloud-native distributed systems (AWS preferred). Experience delivering complex, scalable software solutions, ideally with AI/ML integration. Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, RAG pipelines, LangChain, Hugging Face) is a plus.
