We’re seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support Mazzei Group, with a primary focus on Cecure’s live remediation portfolio. Mazzei Group is a values-led construction group delivering custom residential, social and affordable housing, remediation and live-environment construction across Victoria and South Australia. Within the group, Cecure is our specialist remediation division, delivering complex defect rectification, façade upgrades, fire compliance and strata-led building works across Victoria. Cecure projects are delivered in live, occupied environments - including apartment buildings and multi-unit dwellings - where safety, stakeholder management and structured delivery are critical. As the group continues to scale, we’re strengthening our HSE capability to support a growing portfolio of concurrent remediation projects. The Opportunity You’ll embed practical, scalable safety systems across 60–70 concurrent live projects - working from front-end planning through to on-site delivery. Partnering closely with Project Managers and Site Managers, you’ll ensure safety is built into methodology, sequencing and stakeholder communication from day one. This role requires someone who: Brings strong working knowledge of Victorian construction and WHS legislation Is confident navigating live, occupied buildings and strata environments Can assess current risk exposure and implement clear mitigation strategies Is proactive, invested and highly visible on site — not simply auditing from a distance Has experience uplifting safety systems across multiple concurrent projects Key Responsibilities Embed safety into project planning, methodology and sequencing Establish and uplift safety plans across live remediation projects Ensure legislative compliance and implement practical, site-based risk controls Provide visible, hands-on safety leadership across sites Lead inspections, risk assessments and incident management Drive consistency, reporting discipline and safety ownership across the portfolio About You 5 years’ HSE experience within construction (remediation, apartments or live environments highly regarded) Strong understanding of Victorian WHS legislation Comfortable operating across multiple concurrent projects Practical, commercially aware and solutions-focused Confident influencing Site Supervisors, Project Managers and senior stakeholders Why Mazzei Group Join a growing, multi-division construction group with strong leadership and long-term pipeline Play a key role in strengthening safety capability across a scaling remediation division Work in technically complex live environments where your input genuinely matters Executive backing and real influence over systems, standards and culture We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We encourage applicants from all walks of life to join our team — including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, women, LGBTQIA individuals, people with disability, and those who may face barriers to employment. Interested? If you’re ready to bring structured, hands-on safety leadership into a growing specialist remediation team, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today or reach out to learn more.
