THE OPPORTUNITY We have a permanent full-time opportunity available for a Learning and OD Specialist to join our People and Corporate Services Division based in Macquarie Park, Sydney. Reporting to our Organisational Development Manager, this role blends end to end project management with hands on learning design and delivery. You’ll lead complex learning and leadership programs, build high quality modules, guides and digital content, and confidently facilitate key sessions. This role needs you to be consultative and relationship driven while partnering with diverse stakeholders, bring strong emotional intelligence, apply best practice L&D thinking, and thrive in an environment where you’re empowered to build, innovate and operate independently! Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver high impact learning and capability initiatives aligned to FBAU’s transformation agenda, workforce plans and competency frameworks. • Lead end to end learning programs, including project planning, governance and assistance with the leadership programs, ad hoc leadership modules, career rotation programs, building capability in strategic capabilities • Build engaging blended learning solutions, including modules, guides and digital content across leadership, behavioural, technical and compliance areas. • Facilitate and co facilitate workshops and learning sessions, conducting needs analysis and supporting culture and leadership development initiatives. • Manage the LMS and learning data, monitoring engagement and completion, leveraging AI tools, and providing clear reporting and insights. • Partner consultatively with leaders, SMEs and stakeholders to identify needs, deliver practical solutions, and build strong, trusted relationships across the organisation. Skills & Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience in Learning & Development, capability or learning roles, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver high quality, best practice outcomes in project based environments. • Proven capability to design, develop and deliver effective blended learning solutions across in person, virtual and digital formats. • Hands on experience using Learning Management Systems (e.g. Litmos, Cornerstone) and learning authoring tools such as the Articulate suite, Rise and Captivate. • Highly organised with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously in fast paced or delivery focused environments. • Ability to analyse learning data and insights to inform program design, measure impact and support continuous improvement. • Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills, with confidence engaging and influencing diverse audiences. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with leaders, subject matter experts and stakeholders across the organisation.
