This is a Manager, PMO role with NAB based in Sydney, NSW, AU NAB Role Seniority - mid level, senior More about the Manager, PMO role at NAB In this Manager, PMO role, you will: Be a delivery leader - You will establish, lead and manage all Program, Project & Portfolio Management activities for a substantial change portfolio, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality approach across delivery teams. Champion governance excellence - Drive project planning, financial oversight, risk and issue management, and change control processes that support successful program outcomes. Uplift capability - Provide coaching, guidance and technical expertise to program and project teams to strengthen delivery maturity across NAB. Enhance frameworks and tools - Support the ongoing improvement of NAB’s project management standards, methodologies, knowledge management and toolsets. Build strong relationships - Influence and partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to promote consistency, transparency and delivery excellence. What you will bring: Deep understanding of project management methodologies, particularly PMBOK. Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence liaising at senior levels. Proven leadership ability, including leading PMO functions or delivery teams. Strong influencing and negotiation capability with a focus on achieving successful outcomes. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality. Extensive experience in banking & finance or consulting, with exposure to large‑scale project environments. Relevant tertiary qualifications and project management accreditation (e.g., AIPM CPP, PMI CAPM, PMI‑SP) or working towards.
