The key duties of the position include The Role The Data Manager is accountable under limited direction, to perform and achieve data management and records management work within an integrated workforce. The role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently. This role will be responsible for data management within DPN and DSN Objective as well as supporting with additional ad-hoc tasks. The Data Manager will: Plan, lead and manage the day-to-day tasks associated with Data and Records Management within Air Defence Systems Branch (ADSB). Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and build good working relationships as the sole POC for assistance and general enquiries. Create processes and procedures (where applicable) and maintain records management systems in line with Defence policies and procedures. Have the ability (or be willing to learn) to collate, interpret and present data as well as update and maintain the House of Governance (HoG) and/or SharePoint sites as a secondary function. About our Team The APS 6 Data Manager will sit within the Program Governance and Assurance team, alongside other enabling functions (such as Security and Governance reporting etc) providing support to the entire Branch. As the Branch matures this year, there will be improvements to be identified and actioned within Objective including but not limited to; structural changes, sentencing, audits and more. The APS 6 Data Manager will be the sole POC and person responsible for these improvements.
