Key Responsibilities : Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and management reports that provide clear insight into ALT's manufacturing and distribution performance. Analyse production costs, operating expenses, and revenue trends to identify efficiencies and support informed business decisions. Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, and FBT returns, ensuring full compliance with Australian taxation legislation and statutory requirements. Assist in developing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support inventory planning and sustainable business growth. Maintain and enhance ERP systems, including MYOB Advanced, contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Support and maintain internal control processes to safeguard inventory, fixed assets, and company resources. Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to support accurate financial reporting and compliance obligations. Provide financial analysis and reporting to assist management with operational planning and capital expenditure decisions. What You'll Bring : Qualifications: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or CA progress (or strong intention to commence) is highly regarded. Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role, with strong exposure to reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounts processing. Technical Capability: Proficiency in MYOB Advanced or comparable ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing practical solutions. Communication & Collaboration: Confidence in working with cross-functional teams and presenting financial information clearly to internal stakeholders.
