You will play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Client Details Our client is a well known Australian group, known for their commitment to delivering excellence in their field. Description Preparation of monthly Board reporting and other internal/external compliance reporting as required, ensuring consistency, accuracy and timeliness of reporting to achieve regulatory and business outcomes. Assisting with month-end reporting and analysis, including key responsibilities of reconciling intercompany from a group perspective. Review and oversee monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations across the Group. Oversee the accuracy and integrity of the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring timely capitalisation, depreciation, disposals, and associated balance sheet reconciliations Management of payroll accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations and statutory obligations. Prepare monthly and year-end Group Payroll Tax reconciliations. Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance, including year-end journals and reconciliations. Assist Financial Controller with external audits Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations, strengthen controls, and improve reporting efficiency. Prepare monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations Oversee/prepare Group Overhead P&L, budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting. Management of month end processing. Liaising with internal stakeholders and key contacts in relation to various accounting matters. Profile A successful Senior Corporate Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent). Experience working in a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm. Commercial experience working in a similar Financial Accountant / Corporate Accountant position. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency with financial systems and tools. Job Offer Competitive salary.
